Low Hydrocloric Acid may have been the cause of a bad liver flush

I am finding out I have low HCL in my stomach. My digestion has been very bad lately, and my doctor wants me to do a Heidleberg test, but I did a home test this morning with baking soda/water. I failed big time, didn't burp at all!!!!!! Anyway, I did a flush 2 weeks ago and noticed things just didn't move in my stomach!!! I'm wondering if this issue had an effect on the bad results of the flush! (I did The Clark Flush with epsoms, but used ACV as prep- candida, can't drink cider/juice) I thought it was the prep, and was going to try malic acid caps (powder to sour to drink).
I really think the low HCL may have been the problem with the bad results I had. It's frustrating to not burp when you eat/drink and I noticed that was happeneing with the drinks!
