As you said finding the right balance of proteins and carbohydrates is not easy...especially for a continuous night sleep! I will try the nuts and carrots before bed and will test how that goes.
I will look into buteyco breathing to see what I can use in that because Sugar balance is also related to an hyperactive sympathetic nervous system: breathing, meditating, yoga etc...is really beneficial!
As to visualisation, I think it is a really good idea! I will start to do the same!
