Re: "Liberals" and the Cult of Moral Relativism

The great weight of sincere scientific consensus is that global warming is real and most of the major dissenters are oil company funded. This is well established. Even if global warming theory is later shown to be incorrect, industry has polluted and poisoned humanity and the environment in many different ways with different pollutant chemicals over the years. They need to be held to account for it with environmental oversight, and prevented from doing things which may be beneficial to their bottom line, but unknowingly poison local residents and workers. If not, everybody in this world is going to be in a constant struggle for a modicum of health.

The left wing labor movement secured us the 5 day work week and 8 hour day, in the contest with a violent industrial capitalism (they literally killed strikers) that wanted workers who were as close to slaves as practically possible.

Progressive and socialist movement have brought many benefits into this world. Please read The People's History of the US to at least observe and consider a perspective outside of right wing libertarianism. I say this as a former libertarian.
