It might help but the body can also produce lecithin. Might be useful for someone with a liver already congested, but it's not a necessary part of the normal diet.

I make this note because lecithin rich foods are mostly all cholesterol rich foods like eggs. If people are trying to seek out lecithin like it's an essential nutrient through dietary sources, they are exposing themselves to unhealthy foods. Read the China Study.
