Re: MMS, Candida, Heavy Metals
Thanks for the info. The only carbs I seem to tolerate are certain veggies (steamed brocolli, cauliflower, spinach), raw carrots, romaine lettuce, and green veggies juices (a mix of spinach, celery, cucumber, cilantro, and romaine). I also do well with Food for Life Brown Rice Tortillas (gf/df/yeast free) and Lundbergs Brown Rice Cakes.
I cannot tolerate "whole grains" like brown rice, millet, quinoa, etc. I can only tolerate the rice tortillas or rice cakes. I guess my digestive system is too fragile to breakdown the whole grain form of it. (And I take LOTS of digestive enzymes and HCl, too!)
For snacks, I make a protein-packed nut butter by mixing 1TB nut butter (almond or homemade brazil nut butter) with 2TB Nutribiotics Brown Rice Protein Powder onto a FFL Brown Rice Tortilla or Rice Cake.
I cannot tolerate meats....I have developed a realy strong aversion to them, so I have to puree them (with the steamed veggies) in my Magic Bullet. I then put this mixture in a tortilla with romaine lettuce. It's actually pretty delicious, especially if you use kelp, black pepper, and cayenne.
I also can just recently tolerate soft boiled eggs. I eat GF/DF/yeast free/fruit free/sugar free/nightshade free...
That's the extent of my diet. It's approx 40-35% carbs, 35% pro and 30-25% fat. I'm too low on cals, but IDK how else to bump it up. My fiber is kinda low too....but if I increase that, my carbs will go up as well. Ugh.
What supplements do u take? Any that u recommend for candida and metals?
And is it true that it is important to clear out metals first, then candida?
