Hi Jazzy - not quite sure mate.

Wish I could tell you! I've had two stool tests and both come back empty.

I can tell you, being naive, on my first trip to India I drank the water. I had all signs of Giardia and didn't do anything about it. The bug turned intro something chronic that flagyl and tinidazole (plus many others) couldn't kill.

A few weeks after the protocol, I'm going to do a metametrix stool and fingers crossed, it comes back clean.

My best guess is entamoeba histolytica, blasto or d fragilis.

The dosage is as follows:

Flagyl - 500mg 3 x day for 10 days (first 10)
Iodoquinol - 650mg 3 x day for 20 days
Bactrim DS - 160mg 2 x day for 10 days (first 10)
Alinia - 500mg 2 x day for 10 days (second 10)

Also taking 40mg of Nexium. This has made a huge difference in my sinuses and ears. I went off it for a day (when I ran out of Nexium), while still taking the other meds, and I was able to notice a big difference.

I'll be continuing to take the Nexium, coupled with VSL #3 after the protocol has finished.

Still feeling great :)
