I've often wondered why, when the woman, taken in adultry was brought before Jesus to be stoned...why was the man not held accountable too for stoning? After all, it takes two. Though Jesus did tell the people if a man even lust after a woman, he has already commited adultry in his heart. But there is a Big valley between attitudes concerning men & women and adultry. It seems in many cultures and even in our own country that many men seem to believe it's alright to watch p 0 r n, go to topless places (like Vegas) and cheat on their wives (like it's their due or they can't help themselves...even Christian men) and girlfriends but if their wives were to do the same thing, they could be killed, or beat up or thrown away. When we stand before the judgement seat of Christ, how well will the double standard hold up?
