Ceruloplasmin is the protien that the liver makes to bind copper and carry it in the bloodstream, unbound copper stores in tissues and causing copper toxicity and damages organs, muscles etc. there are many articles about this....a major cause of this is a vegetarian diet, stress causing zinc imbalance and estrogen dominance
