I have problems with my small intestine clogging up. Magnesium laxatives don't help very much as they work by attracting water to the large intestine. The last time I became completely blocked up - gas.bloating and woild growth of yeasts - I did salt water flushes in the morning and added doses of castor oil for the first 2 days. The second day I had a small bm then every day more came out. Then I started on Pau d'arco tea for the candida and after a week or so most of the congestion was cleared up. I take 1 to 2 capsules of magnesium oxide before going to bed and this now produces a bm in the morning. Whenever I start getting gassy/bloated I take Pau d'arco for a few days. It is necessary for me to take adequate fiber and I use gluten free cereals at least twice a day, gluten free granola bars, high fiber vegetables, soluable fiber such as potatoes/pectin from apples. A high fiber diet also increases bile production. To get to the point where I was able to tolerate some of these foods I did H. Clark's cleanses and treatments, followed the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and still use the legal food list, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and follow a strict gluten free diet, strictly avoid cow's milk products and hot peppers because of allergies, for fruits eat only ripe bananas, prunes, apples, pears, do weekly parasite maintenance and occasionally do a full treatment with a different anti parasite herb.
