there are lots of adjustments the body must make until it is Iodine sufficient, which can take from 3 months to three years. some of the adjustments are subtle, some not so subtle. you have been given good advice already.
be sure you are taking selenomethionine - 200-400mcg per day. the higher number for the first year is better imho.
my son took a break from Iodine for a while and when he started back his thyroid enlarged a little. there are too many toxins in the environment to stop taking Iodine for more that 48 hours. bromine and fluorine are everywhere, and thats just for starters.
