Yeah I was calling this thing a possible hookworm infection because of the way the filarform-larva stage have a hook for a tail that they push through my skin to anchor themselves. I have since examined several adults and concluded they are not hookworms, but what they are exactly I'm not sure either. I will soon post a pic of one trying to escape a hole near my nose a couple of weeks ago.
