So, I've been reading a few articles which state megadosing on zinc lowers HDL (good cholesterol).
So, what should those of us with copper overload do? All of us are taking over the RDA of 15mg per day. The articles I read generally accept the upper level of normal dosing to be 50mg elemental a day.
So, is zinc a double edged sword in high doses (100mg or higher like in the Cutler protocol) in that it is eliminating copper from our body but also lowering HDL?
