I'm finding that eating 2 to 4 apples a day for the last month has improved my digestion. The stools are a darker brown and I'm not having to take digestive enzymes or betaine-HCl. I cook the apples, often using the whole apple with seeds, with prunes or rasins, 1/2 banana, 2 tablespoons gluten free cereal, Vit C and a little salt. Sometimes I add sheep milk yogurt, nut butter, coconut. If I eat too much starches I still become bloated and gassy but can stop that by taking modified Lugol'sIodine and a day or two of Pau d'Arco tea.
