I think people have more success in identifying food allergies and intolerances by doing Elimination Diets and keeping a food diary. For food allergy tests it is often necessary to follow a challange diet and eat enough of the suspected food to raise the antibody levels to a detectable level. food intolerances will not give positive antibody tests. I found that the Specific Carbohydrate Diet was very helpful and there are other similar diets online. I have been able to add back to my diet quite a few foods that I could not tolerate. I still have to avoid the foods I'm allergic to - casein and hot peppers - and gluten as it will start off the autoimmune reaction.
