Why is my 10 year old passing gallstones?

She has not being doing any kind of flush. She is normal weight (slim), healthy, active and eats a healthy diet. Now that I know what they look like I saw one in the toilet after she had flushed. She later told me she saw two more with a bowel movement. These were the green cholesterol stones, and the one I saw was a good size, almost like a chickpea.

First of all, why does a seemingly healthy ten year old have them at all? Second, why is she passing them with no flush or other habit change of any kind? Does this mean she has parasites? Should I do a flush? If so, what kind of flush would be safe for a 10 year old?

Any info and advice appreciated.
