Re: New Here- Difficult case/wanting to flush

As you do the LFs and other parts of Moritz's program you will begin to generally feel a lot better and some problems won't bother you any more. The fatty stools, as you probably know, means you have sprue and are you not able to adsorb fats/oils and adequate amounts of vitamins, minerals, nutrients. I think, tho that after doing the LFs you will need to go on to finding out what is the underlying cause of the sprue.

There are two kinds of sprue, Tropical and non-Tropical. Tropical sprue is often caused by protozoan parasites and you can go to the Parasite: Protozoa Forum or the parasite Support Forum. Non-Tropical sprue is caused by an intolerance or sensitivity to gluten. In autoimmune Celiac Disease gluten causes autoantibodies to attack the villi of the small intestine. See http://www.celiac.com
for more info. Non-Celiac sprue is caused by gluten and affects the permeability of the small intestine allowing antigens into the body resulting in multiple allergies. This is one kind of Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Instead of the GAPs diet I used the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and have added many foods back to my diet but it did not 'cure' my allergy to cow milk or hot peppers. As for chemical sensitivities, cleansing my body of pollutants has helped but I still have to avoid many chemicals and keep my living environment pollutant and chemical free.

You are just starting on the road to better health. Good luck on your journey.
