Re: Jorge Flechas Total Body Iodine Sufficiency

at 12:16 - the prostate needs iodine, not iodide. i have recently switched to some old leftovers of SSKI 2% in my morning ritual and i feel better because of it. definitely a must for men and women alike - elemental iodine.

now i know i get some elemental just because of stomach acids releasing some at the point of contact where it is readily absorbed(i have been taking Iodide only for a long time now). we also know that elemental Iodine peaks and is totally out of circulation in two hours. how much is absorbed and how much is reduced to a salt, i dont know. regardless, its good to get a little elemental in my KI.

600mcg per drop times 13 drops is 7.8mg total elemental content, thats what i have been taking and also contains 390mg of potassium iodide. three drops of Lugols has 7.5mg of elemental. 19.5 drops of 2% magnascent(figured at .4mg per drop.) equals 7.8mg total elemental iodine. magnascent may require less due to its ability to be well utilized by the body. with lugols, there is always an excretion going on as the dose wears on through the day. i believe there is a greater utilization per unit of measure in the magnascent so less may do the job. but i must confess, taking magnascent by the dropper full is delightful.
