I wasn't giving you generic advice, I was trying to give you specific advice... as someone who has been suffering for a long time and with no set therapy that has panned out for you and with the correct intentions.
You can literally spend a lifetime studying the myriad enzyme systems in the human body, and perhaps you will get lucky going down the path of extreme complexity. Perhaps not.
Ozone has a normalizing effect on the entire immune system and it is a unique therapy in that it can result in a cure for hundreds of disparate conditions.
A friend's father was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. This man, in his country, was literally the top biochemist, having patented I don't know how many pharmaceutical drugs. I suggested ozone, to which his reply was similar to yours, that everything he had read suggested that cancer would be best treated with mega anti-oxidant therapy. Luckily he did try it and made some basic changes to lifestyle and he is doing well now.
I know that you do not have cancer, but it was just illustrating a point. Meanwhile we have doctor's who would scare the living daylights out of people warning them away from ozone and then in the same breath prescribing radiation 'therapy'
I would not suggest iv ozone to you, and did not. The specific suggestion was sauna since it is gentler and will facilitate sweating/release of toxins through skin.
The most oxidative damage you could do to yourself is remaining complacent with your copper toxicity, letting it continue to destroy you. The oxidative damage you are experiencing is not due to too much oxygen but lack. A bad analogy would be a poor person who is unwilling to invest any money at all in their financial problems because they think that spending money is the root of their problems.
For serious cases of metal poisoning I think ozone is one of the best things around because it addresses the almost unsurmountable issue of tissue damage as metals move around inside the body. Ozone will oxidize these for you at the point of contact, and donate negative ions in the process. In actuality ozone therapy is a negative ion donator, stopping the free radical cascade associated with extreme toxicity.
Here is a link which mentions collagen metabolism normalization...
A single 15 minute ozone sauna session is very unlikely to do any harm and you may be very surprised.
As I understand it, oxygen lack is involved in all chronic illness. There is a specific window of concentration for ozone that is considered therapeutic. Beyond this window, yes your concerns would be founded, but within the therapeutic window ozone can regenerate and detoxify almost any condition.
You could even have a glass or two of ozonated water to gauge whether or not you thought it would be harmful to your situation. The saunas are an order of magnitude more powerful, but you may feel something positive from few glasses of water, and in it would likely not harm you at all if for some reason it was not a good route for you.
