I am not sure what kind of odor you are having, but here are some general things that have worked for me. AGAIN - whomever is reading this....PLEASE DO NOT send a message that I am selling something.
I do not use regular soap, but instead only use Sebamed - it is closer to the skins own pH. They also have a vaginal wash, but either will work. It is expensive, but it is worth every penny. http://www.sebamed.com/
You can also get it from Amazon or Costco if they have it in stock.
Take extra B2 and folic acid. Low B2 and Folic acid can cause bacterial vaginosis or change the texture of the vaginal tissue and cause odor. Here are some links to read:
Also, do not over wash the area. I use to wash anywhere from 3-6 times a day trying to make the odor go away and ended up making the situation worse (just horrible). If you can go 2-3 days without washing the area,
a more natural pH will be restored and the area will naturally cleanse itself, helping the odor to go away. Lightly wash the area afterwards with sebamed so that you don't disrupt the pH or natural cleaners that have been restored. Sounds gross, but it works. If you don't have sebamed, bathing the area in pure tomato paste helps (again restoring the acidity of the area) - folks use this when they have been sprayed by a skunk....sebamed however works the same way and last longer. Also, putting PLAIN yogurt there helps too (the probiotics in the yogurt) - all of this sounds weird, but I have dealing with this for years and can probably be considered an expert :)
Try some probiotics, Drink TONS of water. Please let me know how it goes...GoOD luck to you!
