Re: The 'STEAM' treatment : my improvement in less than a week. (PICS)
According to my experience, and I think that this is the case for a lot of people here, all those creams I have used concretely lead to nothing.
Whatever chemical plays the same role on our lips which consists of over-saturating the skin and just preventing the vermillon, the extra-fine keratinized layer of the lips, from rebuilding properly.
The new fresh skin is always ultra-oily and come off without any resistance at all, whereas it is necessary to have these kinds of flakes for the rebuilding of this vermillon.
Collagen, keratin and filaggrin are severely affected, in the bad meaning, in cold weather, that is why the chapped lips period take place most often during Winter, when the weather is very cold, and very dry.
This 'steam' treatment brings two important conditions which are HEAT and HUMIDITY, the one is going to increase the productivity of the tools necessary for the rebuilding, the other is going to enable the skin to take advantage of an aqueous environment to regenerate properly, because let us not forget that cells need about 75% of water, and steam enables the cells to catch the humidity they just need.
