How can you diagnose a lip infection though? There isnt a test to do it, unless you do a biopsy which always seems to cause worse trauma. Also most people have fungal or bacteria in their lips but it doesnt cause this.

However VUNK I have just completed my first steam as it is so simple to do and natural I have nothing to lose. Will do another one tonight and then as regularly as possible from then. Who knows, we could have stumbled across something. Maybe the steam helps open up the glands as it does the pores in our skin? Maybe these glands have become clogged or closed up after all the trauma and crap put on them so the steam helps open them up and produce the natural oils etc needed and this helps the lips to heal.
