Re: The 'STEAM' treatment : my improvement in less than a week. (PICS)

I went and got a warm mist humidifier which I used yesterday and I assume it does the same thing and probably easier because you can just keep it running and it does have a very hot steam, however I believe that this is just like putting hot water on your lips like you do when you take a shower, I'm wondering how this does anything for inflammation or healing, I put stuff on my lips constantly because they are severly dry but I actually thought that water dries out the skin? I think that my lips are different than some people here, I do not get big crusts, but my lips are very red and dry and constantly peel at the vermillion border, the skin is always white and loose so I just rub it off, I was assuming that leaving the loose skin on would make them look and feel worse? Anyway I am going to keep trying this to hope it helps. I know and have been told that EC is eczema of the lips, which eczema really has no cure unless you can find the cause, but if this helps some people that would be wonderful. I know after trying this yesterday my lips felt a little better, but it may have just been the constant moisture.
