When you say patches do you mean by big thick yelloish skin which hardens or big white stuff which is clearly noticable by people 4 or 5ft away from you then yes I USED to have them but now the bottom is completely clear with no patches but I could see my skin healing up...say for example when I peeled off everything about 6 days ago...there was just raw red skin...

it took two days for a small layer to form over them then slowly the layer began to form and now i feel like if I wait another week or so with applying any stupid lip chemical stuff and having a humidifer in my room it will be back to normal(all healed) but my upper lip is different story...I have what you said about patches of dead skin which heal over night and fall off by themselves in the morning...I dont know what to do with the upper lip but after a week when my bottom lip heals I am going to focus on my upper lips since it can't really be seen unless I pull the lip up.
