Re: Were anyone's mental problems helped by going on a very restricted diet like SCD or GAPS?

beware of the South Beach Diet............

Some people such as myself have a genetic predisposition/sensitivity to Depression and other mental health problems, including anxiety, brain fog, irritability and so on.
My own depression/anxiety/brain fog was cured through dietary means, and in particular with the use of targeted quality supplemental nutrients.
I follow the Nutritarian lifestyle/diet as a basis for improving cellular health and which has its origins within Natural Hygiene............

Targeted and effective supplements to combat your health problems would include........
#1. Vitamin D3 of at least 6000ius per day but serum 25(OH)D levels need to be tested for levels for at least 50 to 70 ng/ml

#2. Ascorbate or Vitamin C intake of at least 8000grams per day and essential for brain/nerve health..........

#3. Neurozan.

#4. Niacin or Vitamin B3......

Rebound exercise also has far-reaching and a profoundly beneficial effectS on mental status...........

You may also wish to consider detoxing your body/brain which is most likely causing many of your problems, and where this method is one of the most expedient................

If you take a holistic approach to your health, and include not only diet but exercise, fresh air, sunlight exposure, adequate rest and sleep, and as your body calls for, then you will be rewarded with superb bodily and mental health given sufficient time.
Nature works very slowly.
