Some of us come and go. I'm usually around when I'm fasting because misery loves company.

I'm just finishing up day three. I'd like to do 2-3 weeks. We'll have to see, though. 1 week minimum, for sure.

Finding a doctor to supervise your fast is almost impossible. Good luck with that. If everybody fasts, they will pretty much lose their practice and their mercedes. I would guess that at least 75% of what they do can be fixed with fasting.

If you're having any sort of abnormal discomfort, it is probably a healing crisis. One fast my kidneys hurt like crazy. I didn't know what was going on and I was wondering about problems with eliminating excessive toxicity. Well, that wasn't it, the fast was dissolving kidney stones and for about 3 days I urinated out sand. Rashes are common as well as random pain, etc. It sucks but also is encouraging to know that something good is happening. the fasts where nothing exciting happen are not as fun. It's harder to appreciate what's actually going on. Tweet
