I found during times of stress people revert back to foods that they ate in childhood, otherwise known as 'comfort' foods.
Try remembering what your childhood 'comfort' foods were and replace the unhealthy foods with healthier ones.
One of my comfort foods in childhood was fish, so by the time I was an adult I was badly congested with too much fish protien. Excess of fish is still sometimes a challenge for me to fend off, as it is one of my childhood 'comfort' foods.
Luckily one of my other 'comfort' foods in childhood was squeesed lemon in honey water. That is a childhood comfort food I keep as it is a healthy comfort food.
