Hi, I second that. Over 2 weeks on a fast I lost 2.2 pounds per day, but it was an average over 3 weeks, not that much consistently each day.
After the last three fasts I was back to my normal weight within three months, probably less, and that was more than my ideal weight by about 20lbs although I am a very tall man so it does not show that much. I kept telling myself I would eat better (and less) and broke my promise each time.
I have recently been experimenting with 2-3 grams of Vitamin C each night and have found that I feel much calmer, less hungry between meals and able to concentrate better each day. It is early days so I cannot tell you it is the answer for me, but it makes me wonder about supplementation.
My guess is that you need to control your diet now as the easiest and most effective option.
