I'm cured and I would say my situation is the same as 'lees'.

I would say the thing we all have in common is leaving the lips alone to heal. Simple as that. Exfoliative cheiltis should be renamed the 'Lips rebuilding process'.

That is all it is, nothing more and nothing less. Everyone here has picked their lips or used creams that have removed the natural moisture that have caused your lips layers to disappear. The more layers that have gone the longer the healing process will take. Anyone healed within a few weeks has only had the top layer come off. Personally my lips were really raw and I think were down to the bare bones so its taken months to rebuild but they are there now so I shall be leaving this forum soon but would like to keep posting for a little while to give people hope and an insight into how this can be healed.
