Low blood pressure makes insomnia worse ?? Confused

When my adrenal fatigue was at its worst two months ago (stage 4), I had severe hypoglycemia, heart palpitations, extreme dizziness, and high blood pressure. As soon as I got into a high fat, high protein diet and ate every 3 hours within days all my symptoms began reversing.
I now seem to have energy throughout the day and working out is not a problem.
However, I noticed that with the bettering of my other symptoms my insomnia got worse and worse. Right now I almost feel like a normal person throughout the day but I'm getting 3 hours of sleep at night, and still stay in bed until noon hoping I fall asleep again and I never do!! My body rests but my brain doesn't and it is really scaring me.
I feel like I have a clue. I now have lowered my blood pressure and my heart is almost at complete rest. Is there a correlation between low blood pressure and the worsening of insomnia with adrenal fatigue??
Does anyone understand this paradox??
