I've been reading the posts on this forum for awhile now and I am confused. Very confused.
Some of you are on hydrocortisone. Is it because your cortisol is high? Some of you eat mostly veggies, others eat lots of protein. I wish I knew what advise to take.
I think my cortisol is low.I My doctor gave me a prescription for hydrocortisone but I haven't taken any yet because my oncologist told me that IF my cortisol is low, taking the steroids could possibly throw me into Addison's. I bought a saliva test kit but can't seem to take it because I don't produce much saliva at all. Any ideas? I need the test.
I have been feeling so bad for over 2 years. I'm nearly completely unproductive. Mornings I'm up for maybe an hour, then have to go back to bed. If I'm really lucky I can do a load of laundry in the evening. The worst part of all of this is that my poor hubby does nearly everything and never complains.
In the past many months I've had every heart test there is, every blood test imaginable, xrays, cat scan, pet scan...on and on Except for finding possible bone cancer, everything checks out fine. But like all of you, I am NOT fine.
