sorry daniel, i just compared two of your pictures, one from April 5th
with the one from June 3rd
i don't see any progress, all that i see is that the affected area on your top lip has increased.
i wish you nothing but the best and i would be so glad if this method would rid you of your condition.
i've been following your blog almost since the very beginning and actually was quite optimistic initially,
but as soon as the dead skin builds up,
your lips look the same each and every time.
the reason why the skin underneath is improving is, in my belief,
simply because you do not forcefully pull the crusts off anymore,
so a thin layer of keratin can form underneath them patiently.
basically there is dead skin accumulating all over and over again. what i'm sure HAS changed,
is the amount of time it takes for the crusts to form.
leaving your lips alone seems to decrease the buildup rate which is definitely a good thing.
to my mind however, this has nothing to do with a scab and layers rebuilding.
i have one important question for you, please answer it:
are you kind of an obsessive personality in some ways?
because i am and i think it has to do with this.
maybe my psyche incites my body to form these crusts to protect my lips
because they feel unprotected in some way?
maybe this is a defense mechanism? i don't know...
any by the way, i still believe that this method could eventually completely clear your condition,
simply because your lips are not bothered anymore,
leading to eventually forming normal skin again.
this could have to do with the nervous system but as i said,
i don't think it has anything in common with a scab.
