How lond does it take for Albendazole to kill parasites?

I have been taking Albendazole for two weeks and I have felt strange sensations like sharp pinches in my body, nausea and some relief in the morning from the itching. I know I should take it for a month and take a break for one week and then begin again. But I dont know if I should continue taking the meds for two to three months. Can anyone share their experience?
