Re: confused or lack of knowledge on sski

Linda, this is the way I understand it. Hopefully, Trap or someone more knowledgeable will correct me, if this is not right or answer more fully.

SSKI is 'super saturated potassium iodide'. K-potassium, I-iodine on the periodic table.

It's my understanding that the thyroid and hormones needs mostly potassium iodide. The rest of the body needs more of the Iodine or Iodine and iodide, not sure on this part.

I started using Traps SSKI about a month ago and started at 5 drops (1 drop equals 30mg)first thing in the morning with my Lugols or Iodoral. Been using more Lugol's lately because it seems to raise my temp in the normal range better.

I'm presently taking 15 drops(450mg) and 100mg Lugol's or Iodoral if I'm out and about.

Just this week, I'm finally starting to feel good, like my old self. YaY!!!

Hope this helps :)
