Okay so I have a couple things..first I was wondering what you all think about sun exposure?
I need to figure out if all of us were "inside people" as kids? I was a computer nerd so I kind of never really did too many things outside, of course I went outside and stuff, but for the most part I liked being inside..so most of my life I didn't get too much sun exposure. I need to know if there were people who were VERY active outside in the sun like every day or every other day kind of thing.
I am wondering this because wehn I was on vacation in Indiana earlier this month I was outside everyday all day long and I had really great progress during that time...so I am wondering if the sun had some great help in helping to heal some parts of my lip or not.
This could also help figure out why some people may get EC and have to continually use chapstick all of the time, if we were always inside and the sun wasn't on us (which provides a bunch of vitamins for out skin) maybe there were issues. I know for a fact when I had Acne really bad and I started going out in the sun a lot my Acne went away.
I am relating this skin condition a lot to Acne because acne is almost just as hard to treat...and it's the same constant cycle that never seems to end.
I put this thread in the accutane forum, so if anyone who used accutane can you tell me if the directions advise you to NOT USE ANYTHING except the pills they give you by any chance? It could very well be slightly the same approach some of us are trying to do with the leave it alone theory to be honest. So instead of the sun (which is also a drying agent as well) drying your skin out so the oils aren't so prominent, the pills do that. But in the adverse effect that it doesn't allow the body to produce the essential vitamins the sun would normall give it, thus creating a severe dryness effect.
Basically I would like to know if you guys are inside people or outside people and if you have been that way your whole life (or ever since you started using chapstick).
