Which foods are you reacting to the worst? Sounds like a lot of harmful metabolites being produced by bad bacteria/candida. If your bowel movements are more diarreah then you might be dealing with bad bacteria. If your more constipated than candida might be the culprit. Could be both? Bacteria produce more acids as by-products(possible ammonia), whereas candida produces more alcohols/damaging enzymes/possibly ammonia. Most people that have bad bacteria or SIBO have some diarreah issues.
You might want to experiment with black seed oil to inhibit the bad bacteria/candida just so you can actually eat something without having a reaction. Potassium sorbate may work for a week but is only temporary (not a long term solution).
Sodium levels can be an issue because of the alcohol by-products candida produces. These alcohols can really screw with sodium levels and cause dizziness and the dehydrated feeling. In the summertime be careful with sodium levels, because too much sodium combined with the heat can cause high blood pressure/anxiety.
That "feeling" might be the harmful metabolites that the bad bacteria/candida is producing. Thats why charcoal might have helped a little. Betonite may help some(although it can be constipating) and a vitmain C flush (8 grams or more to bowel tolerance) may help absorb or flush out these toxins. Vitamin C flushes has saved me a few trips to the ER.
You might have to do a food journal-- eat one food at a time and see which foods you react to the worst/best. For example, with me chicken breast, Low fat fish, some cooked deep green veggie juice agrees with me the best. Then you might have to rotate foods according to your own needs. It can be a pain in the *** according to each individuals GI system.
