i agree healing and then also the main question how did our lips get in this state? in the first place?
also how often are you applying vaseline? the team of dermatologist i saw explained to me that if they were treating it as a wound they wouldnt keep the sloath on as in the "scabs" and they would apply a certain moisture pack to cover the mouth and also apply vaseline literally once an hour for 2-3 weeks. see the problem with our theory of leaving the lips alone and the theory of medical reseach is that skin doesnt take 6 months to regenerate especially on the lips it takes longer to heal a lip wound yes but once the skin has repaired itself once thats it. for you guys that dont know the lips have one of the most blood flow in the body! so it just doesnt make sense.
for me if you were serious about this wound theory and leaving it alone you would go to a wound clinic i mean they have been study the body for thousands of years and im sure they know more then all of us put together on how to heal skin.
i mean they heal people that have been burnt in fires!
