The above diet is very detoxifying and nourishing. It is a long term eating plan. The vegetables are full of anti-oxidants. The closer you can follow this way of eating the quicker you will heal.
I do not eat any starchy carbs but eat a little more protein and fat. I feel very satisfied eating this way and do not put on weight. It is the foods like pizza, pasta, rice, bread, muffins, cakes, pastries, ice-cream, fast food, processed food, french fries, potato chips, soda pop, candy and chocolate that put weight on.
