just some information i wanted to share and my personal experience. we are all so very depressed, almost suicidal because of this affliction, so obviously we have low serotonin levels. i just started lexapro and feel a lot better and have noticed that i am getting more out when i go to the bathroom and have not had the fishy odor, not even a hint for a few days. i have been drinking lots of water and eating more fiber also - so i don't know if my serotonin levels are better and therefore the odor is gone or the fact that i am drinking lots more water and bulking up my stool to clean out my gut!?!?! i do know that this is the only antidepressant i have been able to tolerate. i am going to keep taking it are some older posts about serotonin and other links with information about serotonin in the gut...i never knew this! Praise God for all that He is doing!
