Re: Should I be taking iodine?

I can only advise on my own circumstances...I have low cortisol and the severe symptoms that come with that especially chronic insomnia.

I had my thyroid checked by an endocriologist (normally what Iodine is advised to help) and it was fine according to the wide NHS range.

I was advised by a local nuitritionist to try 1/2 drop Lugos Iodine and I did, which although gave me energy it gave me chronic physical anxiety and hyperactivity which caused a major crash...strangely though it cleared up a chest pain which ive had for two years, but then came back after stopping the Lugols after three days...

Tread carefully, its a thyroid support and its well documented to try and heal the adrenals before the thyroid..
