I remember Avene Cicalfate was very hard to make it penetrate the lips, of course it also acts as a protective barrier but instead of being translucent, like Kelyane HD is -maybe Ictyane HD too-, its whitish color makes your lips...very white, not very practical.

Tomorrow I'll see my derm again, maybe one of the lasts consultations.

Personally I think my EC, unless proven otherwise, is due to compulsive biting and picking, then aggravated by the compulsive rubbing of the lips thinking I had chapped lips but I tend to believe it was just flakes from repeated trauma and not because of climatic conditions.

The questions are : how long will it take to recover? can I envisage a slight dermatological surgery? Or else, I plan to use anti-inflammatory again, maybe more strong, added to a good nourishing cream, of course while avoiding all kind of trauma. Tweet
