Re: MRI or CT scan for Tapeworms?

I'm almost certain my GP will order an MRI or CT scan for me

He's a generally nice guy who's been my GP for years, and has actually ordered those tests in the past on his reccomendation for a different problem many many years ago, and rather easily. He probably won't feel I need them but will order them to ease my mind

I'm not sure if I plan to tell him I suspect parasites though, because he probably won't believe me. I'm requesting the tests so I can know for myself if there are any cysts in my head or back, throat, etc. I feel like there might be, and if not, I am perfectly fine battling intestinal Tapeworm on my own

May I ask the symptoms of ascites though? My abdomen has been distended since this all started, but I am not sure if it is fluid build up, Tapeworm mass, cysts, etc?
