You have obviously done your research. I know enough to say that much, if not all, of what you say is correct.

Nevertheless, I don't dismiss the alkaline/neutral urine advocates totally. It may indeed be more healthy to have a less acidic urine. It may be indicative of a more healthy body. I cannot back this up with a scientific argument. I'm just going by the anecdotal evidence of people saying they feel better when their urine is more alkaline.
