My doctor told me that that the dry sauna was healthier. Steam rooms tend to grow mold. Also because of the warmth and moisture steam rooms are good incubators for viruses and bacteria that can be then passed on to you. I have also discussed this with people who have used the steam room and they said that they have used the steam room and then came down with the cold or flu. The dry sauna is great it has really helped me detox, so good luck.
