Thanks - really informative post! it gives me insomnia too if I take it for too long, but it also visibly reduces my candida.
Kind of a double edged sword there. Cooking garlic makes it more palatable, but also less potent toward the candida. It has a chemical, allicin, that kills candida, but that also diminishes with cooking (I am 99% sure of this, but if others know better please chime in).
