Marie- I know this journey can get so tiresome and frustrating. I had a feeling you were getting a bit discouraged. I have been there myself many times. Sometimes the progress is so slow that we start to think we are on the wrong path.
I really do think the diet is the most important aspect of the program. It isn't what we eat occasionally but what we eat day in and day out. I know you were eating a more Wilson diet months ago. Just make sure you are filling up on lots of cooked veg and protein and some fat at every meal. When I crave fat I eat it. When I crave salt I add more Sea Salt . When I crave chocolate than I know I need more magnesium. If I crave Sugar this usually means I need to take more chromium. I rarely have cravings anymore but I need to stick to the diet.
I was getting a haircut today and my stylist commented on how much healthier my hair was. She asked what I was doing and I told her. When I was really sick 5 years ago my hair started growing in curly but really course and dry. My hair today has gone straight again and so much healthier.
Hang in there. You will get back to where you were. Maybe your body has chosen to do some deeper healing right now. Just believe you are healing. I tell myself this everyday. Ask your higher power for some extra help and trust that it has been given.
