Re: Improving liver clearance

I didn't know milk thistle promoted glutathione aswell! Excellent :-) My skin has improved too since taking MT regularly - smoother tone - not itchy. After having a lifetime of an 'oily T zone' and Acne - with the hypothyroid i now have a very dry T zone!

I too suspect some histamine/sulfur/methlation imbalance happening. What symptoms are you experiencing to make you suspect this?
I've been okay on the NAC despite that being sulfur, but with MSM i got huge brain-fog.
SAM-e experimentation was a day i'd rather forget! Maybe coincidence but i was extremely agitated, depressed, low...i felt like throwing myself under a bus! (Im not on any presrip. SSRI's or any pharma meds)
It would be interesting to see how you do on SAM-e.

I'd love to make my own liposomal glutathione - how on earth do you do that? I'd also love your vit C recipe :-) That's the kind of level of self-sufficiency i admire Faith! :-)

I too thought the lines were from a lifetime of frowning..hahaa...but i still frown and they're much lighter. It is well worth looking at them daily for changes - i do and have noticed such an improvement.

It's probably wisest to do your liver detox mix with gaps inbetween if you detox hard on them.

Like you, i'm focusing on liver health and colon health too. They've been suffering really for a long time and i allowed an insane full life of stress for many years to divert attention from my own health. This happened while living rurally hilariously - i was much less stressed doing 9-5 in the city, weekends to myself. Rural life of a smallholding is longer hours, 7 days a week, and many more stresses!
I think the adrenals will heal much better if those other pathways like digestion and liver are healthier and stronger.

coffee enemas i like - sometimes they leave me groggy...i find i tense easily with the procedure - it goes better when i'm reallllly relaxed and not rushing. I don't do them too strong. I mix one (american) tablespoon of 'light roast' pure coffee grounds with 2 pints of water...boil it up...simmer for a few mins...and strain...topping up with pure cold water in the enema bag to get the right temperature.
I initially did them wrong and tried to circulate the coffee liquid throughout the large intestine - like for other enema procedures - with that enema i was groggy afterwards.
When i left the coffee liquid just in the sigmoid colon, retained for 20 mins, i felt much better and refreshed after that method.
I always do a clearing pure water enema to clear the bowels before doing the coffee one.
I'm going to do another one this weekend.

I've read of others being wired from coffee enemas, maybe the dose being too strong could cause that?
It certainly would be worth trying again as they're excellent for liver sluggishness. Just do a smaller one perhaps to test your tolerance?
