Black Seed Dosage
Depending on the usage or the disease that you have, most dosage requirements are about the same. Remember more is not better. Over 25 grams is toxic. For general well being take one teaspoon of the black seed oil mixed with one teaspoon of raw honey one half hour before breakfast. Take this once a day.

For most minor diseases such as acne, migraines, allergies, etc, double the dosage. For cancer, muscular dystrophy, memory (Alzheimer's) and heart disease, use 3 teaspoons a day divided. For cancer also take 4 to 5 cloves of garlic daily. Keep in mind that black seeds are good in treating cancer in stage one and stage two. If the cancer has spread and in the later stages, the black seed oil is good for increasing the immune system and strengthening the body only.

Special Remedies Using Black Seed Oil
Most diseases and conditions can be treated by simply following the remedy recipe above. There are a few ailments that need a different remedy though.
Acne and other skin problems - Dab some of the black seed oil on the problem areas.

Baldness and hair loss - After shampooing, massage a liberal amount of black seed oil and olive oil into the area where their is no hair (equal portions of each).
Beard Growth - Massage some black seed oil into the beard, all the way to the roots.

Bee and Wasp Stings - Take 1/2 teaspoon of oil and 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil. Dab on the bee and wasp stings.
High Blood Pressure - Use 1/2 teaspoon of the black seed oil in some water and drink before eating anything. Try to get plenty of sunshine and eat a few cloves of garlic daily.

Migraines and Headaches - Rub some of the oil on top of the head, temples and a bit in each nostril. Reapply again in a few hours if you still have a severe headache. Take 1 teaspoon of the black seed oil daily mixed with raw honey or juice.

parasites and Worms - Take 1/2 cup of plain vinegar and 2 teaspoons of the seeds, not necessary to have heated seeds and bring to boil. Let the black seed mixture cool slightly and then brush on your stomach and liver area. Do not wash off. The mixture will absorb into the skin. Wear an old t-shirt to bed so not to stain your sheets. For removal of Ascaris worms, eat 7 dates before sleeping.

Toothache - follow the recipe above and when the mixture has cooled, gargle with the black seed mixture.

According to another site, the following is recommended:

For those just beginning to take the oil initially one should take: 1 teaspoon 3 times daily for 2-3 weeks and thereafter a teaspoon 2 times daily.

This dosage may be increased when illness falls upon us. As much as it is advisable to take it continually, it is also advisable to sometimes not take it for a couple of weeks so the body doesn't take it for granted.

For those taking capsules (some people find the oil far too pungent) the equivalent of 2 capsules amounts to one teaspoon of oil.

And an article published by, “How to Use Black Seed Oil to Treat HCV” says,
“Hepatitis C virus, otherwise known as HCV, is a condition that induces inflammation of the liver. Although the virus might be acute, or short-term, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 85 percent of individuals are diagnosed with chronic HVC. Black seed oil contains the compound thymoquinone, which might help alleviate symptoms of HCV, as the compound contains anti-inflammatory properties. Furthermore, advocates of black seed oil say the oil might also help improve liver function, thereby reducing the symptoms associated with HCV, such as jaundice, fatigue and emotional instability. Consult your health care provider before ingesting black seed oil and for other treatment options.”

Step 1
Begin treatment of HCV by ingesting 1 tsp. of black seed oil on a daily basis. Slowly increase the dosage to find the upper limit of black seed oil that is appropriate for you. Note that manufacturers recommend restricting your daily intake of black seed oil to about 2 tsp.

Step 2
Swallow the black seed oil by itself or dilute it with your beverage of choice. Do not heat the oil or incorporate the oil into hot beverages or food items as the heat might destroy or alter the chemical compounds of the oil necessary for treating HCV.

Step 3
Record your reactions to the black seed oil. If you don't notice an improvement, slightly increase the dosage, staying within the maximum recommended amount. Individuals sensitive to black seed oil should begin by ingesting a half-teaspoon of black seed oil every other day for the first few weeks before consuming the oil on a daily basis. If you notice an improvement in your condition, maintain the results by ingesting a daily dose of 1 tsp.
