Well David, I can't even come close to your record! I have consumed a huge bulb and maybe an extra clove or two daily, but never more than that!
With garlic, the key to it being effective is long term use, but most can't do that. By long term, I mean like 3 weeks or more of daily pounding with garlic. The smell infuses everything, my coats, pillows, clothing. I am not sure why, but my system responds to it better than anything.
Lately I have just been doing garlic enema's (extremely effective, maybe more than taking internally I'm finding), and fresh ground black pepper in capsules, tumeric and ginger. Sometimes I add olive leave and vidanga. I have no movement, and no constipation anymore. I'm doing fine with this for now.
