I read a lot about thyroid function and something I see mentioned from time to time is tyrosine. I never really paid much mind to it, just took my companion nutrients specific to the Iodine protocol and kept at my coconut oil. But from what little I have read about tyrosine, it seems to be just as critical in thyroid hormone production as iodine.

Well, I have recently started to eat raw eggs (please no judging, I raise my chickens and I won't be scared by any E coli talk) and come to learn that eggs are high in tyrosine.

For any of you experimenters out there (*especially* those with thyroid issues), have you played around with increasing whole food sources of tyrosine while supping? Just trying to connect some dots here, knowing the synergistic nature of the good ol' iodine.
