Re: Does GAPS diet work? Any good experiences out there?

The GAPS diet was the only thing that helped my son until we discovered another issue that he had and fixed that. He went off GAPS for a month in January, but now we are back on because it is clear that his candida was not cleared up, just subdued. Now we are using the GAPS diet with the McCombs' plan (See Ask the Candida Expert forum). I think the McCombs' plan diet doesn't work as well for us as the GAPS. But the undeclyenic acid helps to clear the candida with less die off symptoms, I think. The sauerkraut from the GAPS diet gives our son terrible die off so we are going to leave it out until after the 8th week of McCombs' when hopefully the candida will be more under control and the die off from kraut will be less.
